This is a LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY Creche figure. The details of his once silk clothing gives proof of his once holy splendor. He has a classic Neapolitan face with molded brown hair, glass eyes, reverent expression, carved wood figure, standing with hands expressively posed. He has painted and gesso wooden head, arms, and legs, and body molded with hemp stuffing. Figure 13 inches tall, crackling and is missing a finger on both of his hands.
I have over 30 Creche Figures and would entertain a lot offer on them all. They have been together for so very long and I would be thrilled to keep them together. Email me for exact lot specifications. Only serious and respectful offers Please.
