A very rare little 7 1/2" tall hard plastic Indian girl doll with original box, and is Hiawatha's little girlfriend She was only produced for one year in 1966 by the Madame Alexander Doll Co, then was discontinued. Her black hair is in braids and she has bending knees, a brown skin tone, and brown sleep eyes. She comes dressed in a brown leatherette fringed dress with a triple strand beaded necklace and beaded moccasins, though she is missing her headband. She carries a papoose on her back who is encased in a decorated woven carrying pouch attached to her back with elastic. Her costume is tagged "Indian, Madame Alexander, New York", and she is in almost mint condition. Email me with any question's and thank you for looking.
