We have for your consideration a English Sandland ware Copper Luster Creamer and sugar bowl. Two nice pieces made in Hanley, England. This pattern is discontinued. Made by Lancaster & Sandland, they produced china at the Dresden works in Hanley, Staffordshire from l944 until l968. This is a beautiful set, creamy white base with thick copper lustre rim and handle trim with copper lustre leaf pattern on the bodice. This set is in pristine condition with no ware to the lustre-ware, no chips, no cracks and no crazing. The creamer measures 2 1/8" tall x 1 1/4" wide opening, the sugar bowl measures 2 1/4" opening x 2 1/8" tall. Hanley England, they are numbered-creamer l65, sugar-l66, and they are initialed by the artist. This is a really beautiful set and would be a wonderful addition to any table setting.
