Herend-Hollohaze' and Zsonay were the three most well known makers of pottery in Hungary. This charming porcelain figurine of a girl dressed in her traditional Hungarian costume, is an exquisite piece of work. Made of fine porcelain and entirely handpainted, it is filled with adorable details. The colors are soft and blend so well together. She is portrayed in a blue blouse with tiny red flowers, a peach colored skirt with tiny red roses intricately handpainted, they are the workmanship of an expert. Her long brown hair is pulled back and her facial features are so beautiful with her little eyes closed. The bottom of this figurine is marked Hollohaza, handpainted, Made in Hungary 4054. This figurine is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. She measures 6 1/4" tall x 2 1/4" wide 2" deep.
