Exquisite Chinese Brass Enamel Cloisonne Bowl

This beautiful brass bowl with enamel/cloisonne design is a sight to behold. The lid is designed with squares of an oriental bird, the border of the lid is designed in enamel and the handle is made of an attractive red/orange glass. This bowl is very old, research shows that it is definitely before WWII. There is a beautiful brass design around the bowl where the lid fits. The lid fits very securely. The inside of the bowl has it's original blue enamel finish. The bottom of the bowl is designed with enamel/cloisonne design of pagoda's surrounded by a Chinese village scenery. There are three small round footed feet and the mark made in China is embossed on the bottom. This item has a natural patina, we have not cleaned it, thought we would leave that up to the buyer. Considering this item is 80 years old, it is in excellent condition. The lid measures 6 3/4" across, the opening of the bowl measures 6" across, the base of the bowl measures 7" across, the bowl w/lid measures 4 1/2" in height. This is quite a beautiful piece of art.
