Wonderful Joseff of Hollywood INDIAN CHIEF BROOCH

Eugene Joseff supplied an astounding ninety percent of costume jewelry during Hollywood's "Golden Age". "A Star is Born", "The Wizard of Oz", "Gone with the Wind", Casablanca" . . . virtually any major classic film used Joseff's pieces. His client list is a "Who's Who" of Hollywood legends; i.e., Elizabeth Taylor, Greta Garbo, Vivien Leigh, Grace Kelly, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn .

The brooch has a wonderful detailed Indian chief's head with a feather headdress and long braids and a feather pendant handing below him. The Indian Chief is done is relief so this brooch does not have a flat design.

He measures approximately 2.5 inches long and a little over 1 5/8 inches wide. There is a round signature disc in the back with the "Joseff" name. The Russian gold plating is in wonderful condition.
