Plain, simple and timeless design. This sweet jumper dress was lovingly made for a child of the early 20th century.
It is jumper style and sleeveless with a scoop neckline and dropped waist. The fabric is a lightweight wool and it is wheat color. It was machine sewn and has a hand stitched hem. The arm holes were bound with bias tape and seams were overcast by hand.
Measured flat: about 11 3/8 inches from shoulder to shoulder; 14 1/4 inches underarm to underarm and 21 inches from shoulder to hem.
Underarm seams altered. Some wear around arm holes, small hole at one underarm; small light spot on front (about nickel size and I don't know if it can be removed or not).
Even so, the dress makes a charming display and a fine study piece for costumers, designers or anyone who wants to replicate the design. Hanger not included.
