Inkwell

This is an exceptional figural inkwell. It depicts a banjo, sheet music, and ribbons. The banjo lifts on a hinge to reveal the inkwell. It's china well has a tiny rim chip, that does not interfere with it's function, or look. It is a substantial gauge of cast brass. The proportion is very pleasing, length is 9 and 3/4", across it is 8 and 1/2" at it's widest point. Circa 1900. Condition is perfect. Shipping and insurance is included in the price.
