Dough bowl

This is a hand hewn dough bowl of a wonderful shape . It is certainly out of round by an inch or more, due - as appropriate to it's age. It is mid 19th.century. It is american, and I am told originally from Nebraska. It's 18" in diameter at it's widest and 5" high. I am unsure of what wood it is, thus I photographed a knot, which is one of several. It is definitely a very hard wood. It was waxed by it's previous owner, and has a very mellow color. There are some dryness cracks, commensurate with it's age. None take away from it's wonderful primitive look. Shipping and insurance is included in the price.
