These lovely ladies would do for you the same useful job, they performed in their original life. They are 19th.century Rockingham glaze window stops, also known as window rests. Assisting the pull up windows to rest on them and allowing for ventillation. Found most often as singles, seldom stayed together as a pair. Their size is: 4.5" tall, 3.5" across at their lovely hairdo. They are 4 and 1/8" deep. There are chips on their bases, on one - just a very minute one. The pictures will clearly show, that the chips are on the bottom, not visible otherwise. They are a very nice pair, and would be a very nice addition to any pottery, Rockingham or Bennington collection. Shipping and insurance included, nothing else to pay.
