This is an early transfer decorated cream or milk pitcher. Unmarked except for a red 77 for a painters mark. The decoration is in the oriental flavor, reminiscent of early Masons pieces. This may well be a Masons jug. Around the lip of the pitcher the paint is scuffed a bit as it would from use. Otherwise mint condition. It is 5 and 6/8" tall at the top of the handle. This ia of course a Staffordshire piece of pottery.A sweet piece to add to any ones collection, pretty as is, even better with a small bouquet of flowers. Shipping and insurance included in the price.
