This is a very interesting water carafe, made of molded glass, the base is in a 3 mold form. It is made by the :Perfection Bottle Co. Wilkes-Barre, PA. Also marked with patent March 30, 1897. It comes into 2 pieces, plus a white metal threaded collar, that holds the bottom and the neck together. The ability to take this bottle apart, facilitated cleaning. At the last of 19th. century and beginning of the 20th., a water carafe was a standard item used in most bedrooms, homes, inns, hotels, etc.
The pattern on this carafe make it resemble a cut glass. The height is 9.25" and it's diameter at it's widest is 6.25". The condition is perfect on this Perfection glass carafe. (Forgive the pun!) Shipping and Insurance is included in the price.
