Antique Gilt Metal Mirror Rococo Large Hanging Oval Ornate Picture Photo Art Frame

This is a gorgeous antique hanging mirror with rococo style leafy scrolls. It is made of metal which has been gilded. The backing is also metal & has tabs for easy removal.

This frame has a wire hanger. There are four loops on the frame itself, making it possible to hang either lengthwise or sideways. It is now hung lengthwise.

This ornate oval mirror would also make a beautiful picture frame. The frame is 16" long by 14" wide. The opening for mirror or picture / photo is 11 ½" long by 10" wide.

The frame has a few leaf tips which have broken off, which you would never know by looking, but you can feel a slight roughness. This affects only the extreme edges & does not detract from this very pretty frame. The mirror has tiny spots of cloudiness & some minor loss of silvering.

The white reflection in mirror is from ceiling.
