Here is a very old, beautifully painted bottle which is highly enamelled containing a large dahlia (?) with raised stamens surrounded by blue and white flowers. It very nicely executed. The scalloped rim of the bottle is painted gold which has faded. The stopper is ground glass and the bottom of the bottle has a very rough pontil with the number "10" painted in white.
Condition overall is very good given the age of the piece. There are no chips or cracks, however the interior of the bottle contains remnants of times past as you can see in the photos. Nevertheless, a sweet little beauty to add to a perfume or bottle collection. The bottle measures 9" tall with the stopper, 7 1/4" without the stopper, the base is 2 3/8" in diameter and the bottle is 3" in diameter at its widest point. The stopper is 2 3/4" in length and has quite a bit of wear.
