Podmore Walker Brown Transferware Plate - Minerva - 1800s

Wonderful old brown transferware plate in the Minerva pattern produced by Podmore Walker & Co. of Tunstall, Staffordshire, England dating from 1834-1859. This plate does show wear due its incredible age. Nevertheless it is a beautiful piece of pottery and would display nicely in a china cabinet, or as a focal point in an entry way.

It measures just under 8" in diameter. There is some light crazing (only visible under very bright light). On the bottom are a few chips and a hairline crack (please see photos). Let me know if you have any questions or desire additional photos.
