Here is a very rare, Art Deco, hand crafted red celluloid cigarette holder with silver overlay and the original storage case dating to the 1940’s. It measures 3 ½” long extended and 2” closed by ½” in diameter and the case is 2 ¼” closed. The hand-crafted silver overlay case has a beautiful Deco design and the cigarette holder has 3 bands of matching silver overlay as well. The cigarette holder looks like it was never used but the case has some tiny loss of the silver overlay in a few spots consistent with age handling being mentioned to be accurate. The set is marked Germany on the case and is a very rare, one-of-a-kind, tobacco collectible. This is a great Art Deco treasure, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, and would make a perfect addition to anyone’s Tobacciana collection.
