Here is a superb Art Deco deeply carved chunky Bakelite bangle bracelet dating to the 1940's. It measures ½” wide by 3/8” thick with a 2 ½" inside diameter. It is deeply hand carved with a wavy swirly cut design that can be seen from both the top and the sides of the bracelet. The color is butterscotch that has oxidized over the years to a gorgeous caramel patina color. This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and has no chips or cracks only some very light surface scratches hardly noticeable but consistent with age and use being mentioned to be accurate. It is guaranteed to be vintage original American Bakelite and would make a strong addition to anyone’s bracelet collection.
