Here is a beautiful Mid-Century Modern Sterling & guilloche enamel signed link necklace dating to the 1950’s. It has 20 rich blue guilloche enamel placards each measuring ¾” long by 3/8” high measures 17 ¾” long and weighs in at a substantial 47.2 grams. The closing mechanism is a box type that snaps closed normally and is signed 925S OPRO. The necklace was made in Norway by a fine Sterling silver and enamel craftsman and is evident in the overall high quality of this piece. Guilloche is a decorative engraving technique in which a very precise intricate repetitive pattern or design is mechanically engraved into an underlying material with fine detail. It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage, no chips or cracks or enamel loss no repairs of any kind. This gorgeous rich blue enamel necklace would make a great addition to any woman’s jewelry collection.
