Here is a very large magnificent Art Deco reverse carved apple juice Bakelite oval pin brooch dating to the 1940’s. It measures 2 ¾” wide by ¾” high and is ¼” thick. It features a beautifully dimensional hand carved and hand painted red pansy with 2 red daisies on either side. When the pin is worn on a light-colored fabric the opaque apple juice reflects light with beautiful glowing honey yellow colors along the center and out to the edges of the pin. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or heavy scratches of any kind. Guaranteed to be vintage American Bakelite this rare carved beauty would make a great addition to anyone woman’s pin collection.
