The clip has multiple round and baguette rhinestones all original to the clip and set in a beautiful Art deco design. The spring-loaded clip back is marked Pat 1852118 dating it to the 1930’s and has firm snap when shut and is mechanically tight when closed. Dress clips are very versatile; they can be used as pairs or singles and can be worn on pockets, collars, the neckline of blouses, dresses, sweaters (as they were during the 30's and 40's) and t-shirts. They can be used to dress up a hand bag, belt or scarf as well. This very dramatic Art Deco dress clip is in very good vintage condition with all its original clear bright shiny rhinestones.
