Here is a beautiful rare Coro Hyacinth flower pin brooch two-part hand constructed from pot metal and dating to about 1941. The pin measures 3 ½” long by 1 ¾” wide and is very dimensional and bold in design. The flower section is riveted and hinged to the stem section and sways back and forth gently by about ½” when worn. All the enamel colors on the pin are hand painted dark green, light green leaves and purple mauve and white flowers adorn this fabulous pin. The design is complete with a graduated rhinestone stem adding a little sparkle. The pin is unmarked but is listed in some Vintage Jewelry books as an unmarked Coro pin that dates to the early 1940’s. The condition of the pin is good gently used with all rhinestones present. Under magnification we noticed some of the tiny edges of the tiny enamel painted leaves on the hyacinth have chipped away hardly noticeable to the baked eye but being mentioned to be accurate. This gorgeous rare Coro original would make a great addition to any woman’s vintage pin collection.
