Here is a fabulous rare rich red Art Deco Bakelite stretch bracelet dating to the 1940’s. The bracelet has 7 tubular spacer bars each measuring 1 ¼” high by 3/8” in diameter separated by 7 half-moon shaped chunks each measuring 11/8” high by ½” each thick. The Bakelite chunks are strung firmly on black elastic with a 2” inside diameter and should fit a 5 ½” to max 5 3/4” size wrist comfortably. I would say that this bracelet is considered a small size. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches of any kind. This big bright and chunky vintage red Bakelite stretch bracelet is quite striking in person and would make a great addition to any women’s bracelet collection.
