William Tell Cast Iron Mechanical Bank by J & E Stevens Co. of Cromwell, CT; Patented 6-23-1896.

This bank is from the 1st casting with very good to excellent paint, having good colors and patina. No cleanings or touch-ups; all original surface. Very strong mechanical action.

Maximum length: 10 5/8" Maximum height: 7" Maximum width: 3 11/16"

Condition: The only flaw: the key hole of the hatch has a flake missing... probably the result of an over eager youngster. No key.
