Salvador Teran Aztec Warrior Bracelet

In the late 1950s, Salvador Teran, the renowned Mexican silversmith, designed a jewelry line for Marbel, the Mexico City department store. Exquisitely rendered in 22K-gold plate over metal, the jewelry that he made for Marbel is still avidly collected today. Here, for your consideration, is Teran's bracelet of an Aztec or Mayan warrior, created in black ceramic. In mint condition, unlike others on the market, this bracelet appears never to have been worn. It measures 7 1/2" in length and 1 1/2" at its widest point. Marked on the reverse side "Marbel S.A. Mexico, design 14."
