Unsigned Frances Brundage Valentine Postcard with Cupids and Violets
This lovely postcard features embracing cherubs in a heart of violets, a victorian symbol of faithfulness. The sentiment is "Valentine Greetings". The back is marked with the G logo of the Sam Gabriel Co., which produced postcards from 1907 to 1912, many featuring artwork by the freelance artist Frances Brundage. The faces of the cherubs are very similar to the style of childrens' faces on signed Brundage cards.
Condition is Very Good. There is light, but even discoloration from age, and some light damage on edges and corners (see photos). The back is very clean and has never been used.
