1909 North Pole Wireless Co. Santa Postcard w/ Northern Lights

What a beautiful and unusual card! This features a very elf-like Santa manning the switchboard at the North Pole Wireless Co. He is dressed in the typical red, fur-trimmed robe and hat, but the fur is brown rather than the usual white. Above, the sky displays the vivid array of colors of the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. Another nice feature of this artwork is that it is highlighted with silver accents, rather than the more common gold.

Condition is Very Good. The corners do show some wear. The back is clean, but has been used postally and carries a one cent stamp and a Mineral Pont, Wis. postmark from 1909.
