This is a wonderful Bliss doll house circa 1880-1910. The design and architecture is so interesting with two entrances in the front as though one was intended to be a mother-in-law or nanny suite. The house opens from the front with two rooms above each other and with its original bright floral wallpaper which also covers the floor. The left side of the house opens separately and that room adjoins the main room. It is also wallpapered with original paper. The exterior papers are in great condition with the two front doors bearing the Bliss name. There is a front porch which wraps around to second entrance. The roof is pitched and has a chimney and three dormers. The only conditions issues that we have observed is the loss of some trim around the front panel and the loss of a piece of wood serving as an upper floor balcony. The two corbels supporting it are in place. Also there appears to be a front step missing.
The overall measurements of this house are: 18" wide X 10 1/2" deep X 20" to the top of the roof.
