We are not certain if this red wool cloak is vintage or antique, but are very certain it is Shaker because the sewn in label reads, "Shaker Cloak L.M. Noyes Agent, Sabbathday Lake, Me." The red wool is very soft and the stitching very well done. We especially admired the seams cut in a scalloped pattern. The length from the shoulder to the bottom is 24". If a child had worn this mid-calf, she may have been 27 - 30" tall. Or this can be a cloak for a large scale doll of approximately the same height. There are a few condition issues we would like to make you aware of. The lining inside the hood has wear and there are some very small moth holes, which the pictures will show. There also is a slight soiling of the wool and there is about a 2" hand sewn mend in the fabric on the lower back side.
