Miniature Cloisonne and Brass Bird Cage

Here is a wonderful miniature cloisonne birdcage in great detail. The frame of the bird cage is made from a very finely twisted metal, believed to be brass. Over the frame is blue and red cloisonne in an Asian motif. Even the outline of the cloisonne is beaded in gilt. There is a hook on the top for hanging, but no door or little bird inside. Our little mignonette who is not included in this listing is fascinated with the beauty of this little piece, which at 3/4" diameter and 1 1/4" high. It is a nice addition to a doll house scene.
