Doll House White Bedroom Set

If your doll house dolls are expecting some company this holiday season, you may be interested in considering this bedroom set to accommodate them in style. It consists of a tall dresser, tall post bed, vanity, and rocking chair. This set appears to be German from the early part of the 20th century, but it is not marked. It is very well made, exemplified by the gilt decoration, paneled sides and backs, tapered legs, and original silk flower printed mattress with a few small nibbles on the side. The vanity is especially lovely with its original swivel mirror and bracket brace. It has two drawers over two long drawers, but the knobs are missing from the two middle drawers. The bed, which is very sturdy, also has a condition issue to make note of. It appears that it had been re-glued a very long time ago, because there appears to be the brown remnants of paint, as shown. Very appealing are the tall posts topped with a ball. The rocking chair has a few chips to the paint. To find a complete matching doll house set is unusual and fortunate.

The approximate measurements are: vanity 5" long X 2 1/4" deep X 7" overall height; chest 5" long X 2 1/2" deep X 5" high; bed 6" long X 4" wide X 5" high overall; rocking chair 2 1/2" wide X 2" deep X 3 1/2" high.
