We would like to offer for your consideration this beautiful antique Dutch bombe cabinet which comes in two pieces. The approximate overall measurements are 31" high X 20" wide X 9" deep. It was made precisely as the full size versions in every detail. The moldings and carvings are the typical bold Dutch enhancements, such as the arch bonnet top, angled sides, and ball and claw feet. There are two glass doors in the front with the remnants of a lock; however, no key is included. There are also glass sides and two interior scalloped shelves. The base piece has three long drawers with ornate brass handles. This cabinet was expertly made circa 1840-1860 and we believe this cabinet was made from walnut. Its finish is original and the patina has a beautiful smooth and warm glow.
Because of the weight and size of this piece, we have indicated that the best shipping option may be "freight" and determined after purchase. Also determined after purchase would be the cost of insurance, even though the listing indicates that it is "included".
