This wonderful English hallmarked tea set is so perfect for a little doll's tea party. We believe the set originated in Birmingham, England, from the early part of the 20th century. Each piece is hallmarked as shown. The set includes a teapot, sugar, and creamer arranged on an oval gadrooned tray. The tray also is hallmarked and has two handles and four round feet. The lid on the teapot is hinged in order to lift the lid. This set is in wonderful condition, except for a minor dent on the side of the sugar. We are showing the set on a doll house table in a doll house parlor to illustrate its beauty, size, and scale.
The approximate measurements are: teapot 1 1/4" high; tray 2 1/4" wide X 3 1/2" high.
