This trio of green metal pots were actually made by an English metal working apprentice to illustrate his skill in the early 20th century. The set consists of a lidded sauce pot, a lidded coffee pot, and a lidded chocolate pot. Chocolate pots in any medium are always rare and very desirable. They each have a knob or handle on the pot lid. Though they appear to be verdigris from oxidation of copper, these pots are metal and then finished in green polychrome. The combination of the three designs and three sizes make for a very appealing display. Our little German children are observing two of the pots on the stove in a doll house room; however, the scale of the pots are slightly larger than traditional doll house scale. Only the set of three pots is available for sale at this time. They make an immediate impression and statement since they are one of a kind.
The approximate measurements are: chocolate pot 2 1/2" to the top of the lid; coffee pot 2" to the top of the lid; sauce pot 1 1/2" to the top of the lid. The bases are 1 1/8" - 1 1/2" diameter.
