Green Glass Wine Barrel Decanter and Four Glasses

We are offering this beautiful glass decanter and four glasses for your consideration. It is so unique in that it is in the form of a wine barrel, with a hand painted enamel flower on either side. The decanter is supported in a bent wire frame, which also holds the four hand blown glasses. There is a gold tone metal working spigot at the front of the barrel. We believe this set originated in Germany around the turn of century. The soft green color of the glass is definitely most appealing. There is no apparent damage or repair to this piece. The top of the glasses are a tiny bit rough in some spots around the rim. Showing this piece with our French Fashion doll illustrates another decorative purpose for this beautiful piece. The French Fashion doll and French bombe chest are not available at this time.

The approximate measurements are: 7" long X 8 1/2" overall height; glasses are 2" tall X 1" diameter.
