German Porcelain Figurine

And it started out as such a lovely summer evening, strolling through the beautiful gardens hand in hand. However, this beautiful German porcelain tells the rest of the story as if it were a Norman Rockwell in 3-D. For reasons unknown, the handsome young gentleman, who more than likely presented the bouquet of flowers to the young maiden, is standing outside the garden gazebo. The young lady seated in the middle of the bench, holds her nose up, while dropping the flowers down. We can only imagine the ending of this romantic tale. However, there is no imagining the beauty and detail of this porcelain figurine. The paint and detail are intricate, colorful, and exceptionally well done. This German porcelain factory mark is identified on the bottom and dates from late 19th to early 20th century. There are no flaws or damage to the porcelain.

The approximate measurements are: 8 1/2" wide X 4" deep X 8 1/2" high.
