The Philadelphia American Caramel Co. issued this set of candy cards between 1908 and 1910. This set is designated in the American Card Catalog as E91-A and shows color drawings of "generic" players rather than the named major leaguers. This card of Federick Hartsel, left fielder for the Philadelphia Athletics, measure approximately 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears or writing.
