J.D. KESTNER antique doll - 27-28 "; excellent condition, designer dress

This beautiful bisque headed Kestner child doll stands between 27 and 28 inches. Her plaster pate has been loosened for shipping. Her wig is human hair and is auburn in color. No chips, hairlines etc. Her ears are not pierced. Her bisque is perfect. Open mouth with 4 teeth and nicely painted bisque. Blue sleep eyes. Head is incised Made in L. Germany .15. Her body is excellent. Her costume is exquisite. Due to age there are some weakened spots in fabric and some pin holes. There is a designer label in the back seam "Marcelle Julien". The ribbon and fabric is all original. The back of the dress buttons with tiny covered white buttons. She also has a full under slip and bloomers with pin tucking and lace as shown. Her stockings are white cotton and her shoes are not antique. This doll is a mint example of Kestner's doll making.
