This fabulous cache pot dates from 1985 and is a gorgeous reproduction, authorized by Winterthur, of a classic, Chinese circa 1800-1830 cache pot in their collection. It was produced by the Mottahedeh Company which is noted for its exacting reproductions of historic period porcelain. The design shows floral arrangements and a border typical of the period. The animal face handles are pierced for hanging the pot. It is in excellent condition with no cracks , chips, or repairs. It is 6" tall and 7" in diameter and weighs almost 4 pounds.
