Prattware, "Goats Among the Ruins" F. & R. Pratt & Co.

This 9 1/8" Prattware plate is unsigned and not titled. There is nothing on the back. It was made by F. & R. Pratt & Co., Fenton Potteries, Staffordshire, on their standard "123" pattern border with a periwinkle blue rim. It dates from the mid to late 19th century. It features goats frolicking among ancient ruins. The plate is in excellent condition overall with no cracks or chips. The gold trim is not worn. There are small 1/8" and pin point flecks on the blue border and it shows a fine overall crazing. There is no staining. The large white lines fitting the contour of the rim are photographic glare and not scratches. This is a very attractive plate that displays well. We are offering free shipping for this piece for our U.S. customers. Costs for others will vary by location. We have more of these and smaller plates in our shop right now.
