MacKenzie-Childs Butterfly Open Sugar

This open sugar in the Butterfly pattern is an early piece of Mackenzie-Childs ware. The firm was located in Aurora, NY and noted for its whimsical hand-crafted free-form style and decoration. MacKenzie-Childs pottery is highly sought after. The pattern has been discontinued for some time. The sugar is 2 3/8" tall and approximately 4" wide. It was not designed to have a lid. The sugar is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips,or repairs. It is marked on the bottom as shown.
