Vintage Royal Doulton-The Falconer-Professional Series 3rd Firing

This plate is part of the famous Doulton "The Professionals" Series that was introduced in 1909. The series was produced in 4 separate firings and was discontinued in 1974. This plate is from the third firing, circa 1948-1960 as indicated by the D6 number under the Doulton logo. This plate is 10 1/4" in diameter, titled "The Falconer", and is number D6279. It is a colorful plate and is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, crazing or chips. It is marked on the reverse as shown and the plate number is a hand-applied painted number suggesting that it was an earlier production piece in this firing. We are offering this plate at less than half the priced charged by a major matching service. There is no box. We are offering free shipping on this item for our U.S. clients.
