Vintage 1951, 1953 Fully Functional Jack In The Box Toy by Mattel

It plays "Pop Goes The Weasel" as the crank is turned and at the appropriate note the clown "pops" out. Wonderful to see after 50 plus years! Many others sold do not work. This toy is made by Mattel Inc. Los Angeles, CA with 1951, 1953 patents. The music is arranged by Ted Duncan. Although the hobo clown has lost his hat, shows wear and rust can be found on the top this Jack in the Box is still in wonderful vintage condition. It measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and the clown pictures still have their awesome color.
