Vintage "Oop-Boop-A-Doop" Betty Boop Bendable Doll
Created by cartoonist, Grim Natwick in 1930 for Fleischer Studios, Max Fleischer brought the Betty Boop character to life in 1932. Now 80 years old Betty Boop is the forever young wide-eyed flapper girl of the 30's! This doll stands 7 1/2" tall and her hair, features, bathing suit, and garter are painted on. Her always present hoop earrings are painted grey. She is made of a rubber material which weighs about 4-5 oz and has bendable legs, arms and midsection. This Betty Boop doll is in great condition despite some wear from play. There is a small green mark on the back of her left arm and mysterious small double punctures on her arms, thighs and lower legs. They could be the result of staples used to hold the doll in a box. On her upper back is found:
