Vintage Frosted Glass Fenton Bird of Happiness marked

This is Fenton Glass and is marked under the wing. The frosted glass figure is titled "Bird of Happiness". The piece is 6 inches long by 4 ¾ inches tall and is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks or repairs. There are a couple of very tiny rough spots along the base. This is certainly a cheery figure for the Holidays or anytime of year. It would look great on a windowsill or a mantle, surrounded by greens.

Notes: Fenton was founded in 1905 by Frank and John Fenton, initially decorating others' glassware. They moved their operation to Williamstown, West Virginia in 1907 and began producing their own glass. Fenton is among the world's foremost producers of handmade art glass and the largest manufacturer of handmade colored glass in the United States.
