19th century double ended olive fork/pierced spoon, naturalistic motif with realistic 3-D life-sized olive and leaves; artistically wrapped around the twist handle. Circa 1880, the piece bears the Gorham hallmarks, sterling and a production number. This figural piece measures just under 10" and weighs 27.8 grams. Both ends retain a fair amount of original gilding, the life sized olive has a satin finish, and bears the script initial of P. Condition is outstanding; this most certainly an exotic example of Gorham sterling, definitely not mass produced.
