English Electroplate Silver. Mappin & Webb Princes' Plate Fish Set-12 pieces. c.1887 You are viewing a rare antique English Electroplate Silver MAPPIN & WEBB PRINCES' PLATE FISH SET FOR SIX PERSONS- 12 PIECES. Made by MAPPIN AND WEBB, and in a very good condition for their 125 years age and use. The plating has not worn at all, but on the surfaces there are light scratches (see photos) and they could do with a good polish. The blades are marked by MAPPIN AND WEBB PRINCES PLATE with sign and number: R D 71552. This hallmark shows the set comes from C.1887 Engraved. Natural bone. The knives are 8" and the forks are 6 3/4" For those, who care for luxury dining or collectors of rare silverware.
