EAPG Cruets Pair Cambridge Marjorie 1906

These 2 cruets feature Cambridge pattern 2631, also known as Marjorie or Button Star. The pattern was made in 1906. The cruets are a Near Cut pattern, the Cambridge imitation cut glass line. The cruets are unmarked.

The cruets are 5.25 inches tall and have a base 4.5 inches. Both cruets have the original stoppers. The glass is very heavy and very thick. There are no chips, cracks or stains.

The Marjorie pattern was the new pattern for the 1905 season. It was one of the first Near Cut patterns made by Cambridge. The pattern is very ornate with hobstars, zippers, fans and daisies. Deep miters in the design accent the pattern. You can easily see in the photos how thick the glass is by looking at the miters.
