These 6 glasses are a very pale powder blue. They feature Imperial Glass pattern 612, Mogul Variant, made around 1904. The glasses are made of heavy thick glass. The glasses are considered cordials. They hold about 1 ounce. They are 3.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches across. These are a wonderful size for sorbet between meal courses to clean the pallet.
The Mogul pattern is very similar to Imperial's Star and File pattern. The Mogul pattern has a 6-pointed star on three sides of the bowl. There is a 3-point fan between each point on the star. The stars are separated by a vertical file design on the bowl. The stem is multi-sided and the base has a multi-point hobstar.
Glasses in this pattern were reproduced in the 1970s; however these stems are unmarked, suggesting they were made pre-1970s. The glasses have no chips or cracks.
