Duncan Miller Mardi Gras Cheese Stand Compote 1894-1920

This pedestal cheese stand or open compote features the Duncan Miller Mardi Gras pattern. The dish is 5.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches across the top. The compote is made of brilliant pressed crystal. The pattern was made between 1894-1920. Alternating columns of notches, prisms, and english hobnail form a scalloped edge below the bowl rim. The pedestal base has the pattern on it as well. When tested under a black light the cheese stand fluoresces green. The glass is still very clear and has no discoloration. There are no chips or cracks.
