Bowl Triangle Handled Duncan Miller Mardi Gras 1894-1920
This triangle shaped bowl has a large handle. The pattern is Mardi Gras made by Duncan Miller between 1894-1920. The pattern features alternating columns of beaded prisms and English Hobnail. The columns form a scallop around the top edge of the pattern. The rim is sawtooth. The handle features the English hobnail design.
The bowl is 7.5 inches long from the tip of the triangle to the back of the handle. The handle is applied. The bowl is about 2.25 inches deep and is 5.75 inches at its widest point.
The glass in this bowl is still brilliantly clear. There is no cloudiness or discoloration. There are minor flea-bites along the sawtooth rim. There is some bottom wear which is to be expected in a piece of glass this old. There are no chips or cracks. The glass has been black light tested and fluoresces green under the UV.
